Flood Rescue Efforts Escalate in Lombardy’s Como-Brianza Area

Multiple firefighter squads are conducting emergency operations in the region between Como and Brianza, particularly in the municipalities of Cambiate, Limbiate, Meda, and Bovisio Masciago, which have been severely affected by heavy rainfall and flooding. Reinforcements have arrived from other commands in Lombardy, including personnel specialized in river rescue, as well as from the Veneto region. Evacuations are underway, with helicopters being used to airlift residents.
