Marc Marquez has dominated the pre-qualifying session for the MotoGP San Marino Grand Prix at Misano. Riding for the factory Ducati team, the World Championship leader set the fastest lap time of 1’30”480. He finished ahead of Marco Bezzecchi on an Aprilia (+0.147s) and Franco Morbidelli on the Ducati VR46 (+0.193s). Francesco Bagnaia on the other factory Ducati secured fourth place (+0.230s), showing a marked improvement from his recent races.
Alex Marquez on the Gresini Team Ducati took fifth (+0.272s), while current world champion Jorge Martin closed the session with the eighth fastest time (+0.377s). Fabio Quartararo struggled with his Yamaha, finishing outside the top ten in twelfth position (+0.610s).
