Man Arrested for Stalking Neighbors in Como

The Prosecutor’s Office in Como has secured the arrest of a 56-year-old man from Casnate con Bernate on charges of condominium stalking. Between November 2024 and last July, the man is accused of a series of serious harassing behaviors. He allegedly spied on several female neighbors “with shameless audacity and ease” through the keyholes of their apartments and, in some instances, engaged in acts of autoeroticism on the building’s landings. Evidence against him includes footage from cameras installed by the victims. Some of the women had moved in with relatives or adopted the habit of returning home very late to escape their neighbor’s attention. The man is currently held in preventative custody at Como’s Bassone prison, awaiting a guarantee interrogation.
