A portal operating on the open web, easily accessible through common search engines, has been discovered hosting thousands of illicitly obtained audio and video recordings. The footage was stolen from more than 2,000 surveillance cameras inside private homes, aesthetic centers, and medical offices. The site was uncovered by Yarix, the cybersecurity competence center of Var Group based in Treviso, Italy, which subsequently reported its findings to the Postal Police. Active since at least December 2024, the portal allows users to view short video clips for free. It also offers the option to purchase full access to a camera feed to view more content or even take control of the device itself. The price for access to a single camera ranges from approximately $20 to $575.
