The number of pilgrims who have passed through the Holy Door of St. Peter’s Basilica to celebrate the Jubilee has reached 24 million. This figure, released by the Dicastery for Evangelization, which is responsible for organizing the Holy Year, accounts for the pilgrims who have journeyed to Rome in the just over eight months since the ceremony opened last December 24.
