VITERBO – Culture Minister Alessandro Giuli announced his presence in Viterbo for the upcoming Transport of Santa Rosa on September 3rd, following his attendance at the transport of “Eterna,” the miniature version of the machine used in the historic center’s event, this evening.
The Minister arrived at Piazza Dante, the starting point for the mini-machine’s procession, accompanied by Mauro Rotelli, President of the Parliamentary Environment Commission, and Antonella Sberna, Vice-President of the European Parliament.
“This is a wonderful, unplanned event,” Minister Giuli told ANSA. “My friend Mauro Rotelli invited me from nearby. I have a house in a small village in Tuscia near Viterbo, and I took advantage of the opportunity to witness a tradition that is renewed, above all, through the strength of children and the younger generation, who are inheriting a very important function that one day they will carry out as adults.”
Minister Giuli followed the entire route of the mini-machine’s transport until its conclusion.
