The Rosa Virtutis mini-vehicle captivated the streets of Viterbo’s Santa Barbara neighborhood this evening, dazzling thousands of spectators who lined the roads to witness the tenth edition of this transport parade. Conceived by the creative genius of internationally renowned artist Michele Telari, the newest and youngest of Viterbo’s three mini-vehicles has won the affection of local residents and the wider city community in just a few years.
The event commenced with Mayor Chiara Frontini, association president Massimo Mecarini, and head crew member Luigi Aspromonte leading the white-clad crew. The ceremony was attended by European Parliament Vice President Antonella Sberna, Regional Councillor Daniele Sabatini, and Provincial President Alessandro Romoli.
Following a blessing conferred by Bishop Orazio Francesco Piazza, the small column of light processed through the neighborhood’s darkened streets, accompanied by enthusiastic applause from the numerous onlookers.
