Attorney Annamaria Bernardini de Pace, along with a team of 12 lawyers, has already “collected several hundred” reports from women, primarily “through associations,” related to the sexist forum Phica. The work has now begun for the renowned divorce lawyer and her team to pursue criminal charges, through formal complaints, and civil cases seeking compensation from the platforms. “The idea,” explained Bernardini de Pace, “is to ‘rape’ the jurisprudence, just as these women who suffered a gang rape were raped. If we gather a thousand complaints, perhaps the judges will start to worry about this phenomenon.”
