Ukrainian authorities are investigating multiple lines of inquiry in the murder of former Verkhovna Rada speaker Andriy Parubiy, including a potential connection to Russia. During a briefing covered by Ukrainian media, Lviv region police chief Oleksandr Shlyakhovsky stated that the identity of the killer remains unknown.
“The assailant fired approximately eight rounds from a short-barreled firearm on Yefremov Street at 11:37. The crime was very carefully planned,” Shlyakhovsky affirmed. He also confirmed that police are searching for a suspect seen wearing clothing resembling a food delivery rider’s uniform and a helmet.
