Post Malone set the stage—both literally and musically—alight at Milan’s San Siro racecourse for the sole Italian stop of his ‘Bad Ass World Tour.’ The performance served as the closing act for the I-Days festival, which concluded with a total attendance of 250,000 and announced its next edition for 2026.
The concert, originally scheduled for 2020 and canceled due to the pandemic, was finally held in a city still half-empty for the summer holidays and under a weather alert. Nevertheless, thousands of undeterred fans flocked to the venue.
With friend and collaborator Jelly Roll as the opening act, Post Malone showcased the versatility that has defined his career, seamlessly transitioning from rap and rock to the country sound of his latest album, ‘F-1 Trillion,’ released last year.
Beneath a stage setup dominated by a large, neon-lit cowboy buckle reading “Posty Co'”—a nickname used by his fans—the artist warmed up the crowd with flames shooting from the stage and his track “Texas Tea.” He launched into hits like “Wow,” from his 2018 album, and “Better Now,” which he performed as a sing-along. After playing “Wrong Ones,” the first single from ‘F-1 Trillion,’ he thanked the audience, saying, “Thank you for the love and heart you’ve given me over these years.”
An intimate moment followed with a near-acoustic performance of “Fall Apart.” Malone later brought Jelly Roll back on stage, hailing him as “one of the best songwriters in the world” and someone who “taught me so much about life.” He dedicated the song “Losers” to “anyone who has felt alone in a crowded room” and encouraged the crowd, stating, “no one can silence you.”
The two artists share common ground, notably their facial tattoos and an eclectic musical attitude that refuses genre constraints. Malone ventured into the crowd on a runway during “Goodbyes,” at one point returning with an Italian flag. He continued the career retrospective with “What Don’t Belong to Me” from the new album.
The audience roared for “Posty,” singing along to “Circles” while recording on their phones. He performed his breakthrough hit, “White Iverson,” while smoking a cigarette. Urging fans to “follow your dreams because no one can stop you,” he thanked those who had been with him from the beginning. He even offered a fan a beer before launching into “Pour Me a Drink.”
The pyrotechnics returned in force for “Rockstar,” with fireworks continuing throughout “I Had Some Help.” The celebration carried on with fan favorites “Sunflower” and “Congratulations.”
Malone signed off with a final message of gratitude: “Over these 10 years, you have given me the courage, the confidence, and the strength to follow my dreams. You should do the same.”
