AC Milan’s Sporting Director, Igli Tare, has addressed the delayed signing of Victor Boniface, stating the club is conducting a thorough evaluation of the player’s health. The comments were made to DAZN just before the kickoff of Milan’s match against Cremonese.
Tare clarified that the additional assessments were not supplementary medicals but part of a known review of the player’s past physical issues. “We knew about the past problems. We are doing all the evaluations on the player’s health condition. His qualities are unquestionable. We are trying to make the right decision for this situation,” Tare stated.
He confirmed that a final decision is imminent, noting, “Soon we will discuss it together with the coach and make a final decision.” When asked about a deadline, Tare assured, “We are not putting pressure on ourselves – at most, we put it on others.”
