A dangerous game staged by a group of young men in their early twenties turned into a serious incident last night in Gardone Riviera, along the Gardesana road in the province of Brescia. Around 2:30 AM, near the Hotel Monte Baldo, the youths began simulating attempts to throw themselves in front of oncoming cars. During this “challenge,” a 23-year-old Irish man was actually struck by a vehicle. He was immediately aided and transported via helicopter ambulance to the Spedali Civili hospital in Brescia. His condition is reported as serious but not life-threatening.
