A 64-year-old woman drowned after falling from her scooter into a canal in Verolavecchia, in the Brescia province. According to an initial investigation, the victim was traveling toward Verolanuova when she lost control of the vehicle and ended up in the water, which was approximately 80 centimeters deep. Carabinieri from Verolanuova responded to the scene and have currently ruled out the involvement of any other vehicles.
