Sergei Oprea, a Moldovan immigrant renowned for his professional shoemaking services, has died after a fire engulfed his small shop on Via Perini in Trento. The victim was found inside the premises late on Tuesday evening. Firefighters discovered his charred body and worked for several hours to extinguish the blaze, which broke out around 11:45 PM. An investigation is currently underway to determine the cause of the fire. Carabinieri, local police, and the permanent Trento fire brigade were all present at the scene.
