Milan’s benchmark FTSE MIB index climbed 0.86 percent, closing above the 43,000-point mark for the first time since May 2007. Leading the gainers were Moncler (+5%), Campari (+3.35%), Amplifon (+3.1%), Stellantis (+2.86%), and Interpump Group (+2.74%). In contrast, shares of Leonardo (-9.67%) and Fincantieri (-9.57%) fell sharply on news of a potential Russia-Ukraine agreement, dragging down the broader European defense sector.
