Firefighters successfully retrieved a distressed young eagle from Lake Como near the municipality of Lezzeno. The bird, showing no apparent injuries and in stable condition, was subsequently transferred to provincial police authorities. The incident occurred late Tuesday evening after the Coast Guard alerted emergency services to the eagle’s plight and requested intervention.
