EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen declared that “there should be no limits placed on the Ukrainian armed forces, no restrictions on cooperation with third countries, and no barriers to receiving assistance from third countries.” She emphasized Ukraine “must become like a steel porcupine,” asserting that security guarantees are essential for both Ukraine’s and Europe’s interests. Von der Leyen made these remarks during a joint press point with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Brussels.
