DJ Alessandro Basciano was fitted with an electronic monitoring bracelet after presenting himself at the central police station in Milan this morning. The 35-year-old faces accusations of stalking his ex-partner, Sophie Codegoni, and is subject to a restraining order that became definitive on April 30. Basciano had failed to appear at his first scheduled appointment to receive the device on August 6. His non-compliance at that time risked triggering house arrest, as mandated by the court order for refusal to wear the electronic tag.
