Thousands of identity documents stolen from Italian hotels have been put up for sale on the dark web by the cybercriminal group ‘Mydocs’. The Italian Digital Agency (Agid) reported that the illicit activity involved high-resolution scans of passports, identity cards, and other identification documents used by guests during check-in. The breaches began last June. During the latest weekend, the hacker group published new listings offering over 70,000 ‘exfiltrated’ documents stolen from four different hotel facilities.
