This afternoon at 5 PM, forensic investigators from Parma’s RIS (Scientific Investigations Department) will conduct an on-site examination at the so-called “house of horror” in Gemona, Udine. The location is where 35-year-old Alessandro Venier was murdered by his partner Mailyn and her mother Lorena on July 25, before being dismembered by the latter.
The RIS team’s presence aims to verify Lorena’s detailed confession of the crime timeline, which remains unconfirmed by Mailyn. The daughter has provided no substantive statements for the ongoing trial, beyond initial admissions made to Carabinieri officers after her emergency call to 112.
Simultaneously, a medical examination of the victim’s remains begins today at 5 PM. Experts appointed by the Prosecutor’s Office and defense teams will perform a CT scan on the body—sectioned into three parts by Lorena—followed by an autopsy tomorrow at 9 AM with RIS specialists participating.
