Body of Missing 6-Year-Old Boy Recovered off Venetian Coast

Divers recovered the lifeless body of a six-year-old boy at 2:45 a.m. today in the waters near Cavallino Treporti, Venice, after he was reported missing yesterday. The child was discovered lying on the sandy seabed near a breakwater at a depth of two meters. Fire department divers located the remains using onboard sonar equipment. Personnel from the Port Authority and Financial Guard were also present at the scene.
