Despite widespread speculation about mutual tensions and claims of an imminent “divorce” from their partnership, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have renewed their production company’s contract with Netflix. The streaming giant’s agreement was set to expire in September but has now been extended, entertainment outlet Variety reports.
This development follows late July media reports suggesting a mutual separation would see the couple collaborate with Netflix only on select projects “without animosity from either party.” Harry and Meghan first partnered with Netflix in 2020, producing series including “Harry & Meghan,” “Heart of Invictus,” “Live to Lead,” and the polo documentary “Polo.”
Recently, Meghan launched the lifestyle series “With Love, Meghan,” whose second season is scheduled to premiere in late August. The renewal underscores their ongoing creative ties despite earlier rumors of a professional split.
