Both directions of the Autosole motorway between the Roma Nord junction and Ponzano Romano have fully reopened to traffic. Northbound lanes resumed operation at approximately 11:30 AM, as confirmed by Autostrade per l’Italia. The restoration follows the removal of a heavy goods vehicle that caught fire Monday afternoon near kilometer 525, which had disrupted travel toward both Rome and Florence. Autostrade emphasized that reopening required “a complex and lengthy series of operations to secure the entire highway section” before traffic flow could be safely restored.
