Pop icon Madonna has publicly appealed to Pope Francis via social media platform X, urging him to travel to Gaza “to bring his light to the children before it’s too late.” The singer stated, “As a mother, I cannot bear to see their suffering.”
Asserting the Pope is “the only one they cannot deny entry” to the besieged territory, Madonna insisted: “Humanitarian access must be fully opened to save these innocent children. There is no more time. Please say you will go.”
In her post directed to the pontiff, Madonna emphasized her intent: “I am not pointing fingers, I am not blaming anyone, I am not taking sides. Everyone is suffering. I am simply trying to do whatever I can to stop these children from starving to death.”
She further called on her followers to donate to the Israeli NGO Women Wage Peace and to the World Central Kitchen, while also requesting they share her appeal.
