Investigation Intensifies into Murder of Sardinian Paramedic

Military police continue investigations to identify the killer of Marco Pusceddu, a 50-year-old paramedic from Portoscuso murdered late Thursday night in Buddusò, Gallura. The victim was shot at least four times at close range outside the headquarters of rescue association Intervol.

Investigators from the Sassari Provincial Command and Ozieri Company, coordinated by Sassari Prosecutor Elisa Succu, are collecting statements from the victim’s relatives and friends to reconstruct his background for potential leads.

According to investigative reconstructions, the assailant arrived on Pietro Nenni Street around 11 PM Thursday and shouted for Pusceddu from outside the building. When the victim appeared at the doorway, the killer fired 4-5 shots striking his chest and neck.

The unmasked attacker wore a hooded sweatshirt and fled on foot after the murder. Authorities are investigating whether an accomplice awaited nearby in a getaway vehicle.

Carabinieri are reviewing surveillance footage from across the town for evidence. Simultaneously, they are probing the victim’s history—particularly an unresolved incident months earlier where Pusceddu was hospitalized for a severe head wound. He had told medical staff and police the injury resulted from a household accident, prompting no assault report or investigation.

米兰检察官:法律审查仅限预防评估
