Actress Michela Miti has publicly named the late producer Mario Cecchi Gori, father of Vittorio Cecchi Gori, as the man who hindered her career for rejecting his advances. In an interview with *Gente* magazine, Miti stated: “He blocked me from numerous auditions for many films. Because of this, I had to undergo therapy and analysis with specialists to overcome traumas that profoundly marked my career. An indelible memory.”
Miti, famous in the 1980s for roles in sexy comedies, particularly the ‘Pierino’ series, and as the longtime partner of writer Alberto Bevilacqua, had previously spoken of a producer sabotaging her following her refusal of his propositions. Her story resurfaced following the recent death of ‘Pierino’ actor Alvaro Vitali.
The actress also revealed her current dire financial situation, stating she is facing imminent eviction. “Unfortunately, I’ve been served an eviction notice,” she explained. “The only positive news is that I learned just days ago it has been postponed until September. My days in this house are truly numbered. I have no gas, and only thanks to a miraculous electric hotplate can I cook myself a meal at least once a day.”
