A 24-year-old man was stabbed in the abdomen during a fight at dawn last Wednesday in a nightclub along the coast of Ostuni. The incident was only reported today. The victim, a resident of northern Italy vacationing in Puglia, was wounded for trivial reasons while on the dance floor.
The young man was transported to Perrino Hospital in Brindisi where he received sutures. He was discharged after several hours. Ostuni police are conducting an investigation to reconstruct the events.
