Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and Libyan Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah have agreed to strengthen cooperation “to address common challenges, starting with the management of migration flows.” Meloni highlighted the “excellent results” previously achieved with Turkey in this field, stating there was an opportunity to apply these lessons to support the Libyan Government of National Unity’s efforts on migration. The leaders also discussed joint lines of action to combat international criminal trafficking networks.
