The yield spread between Italian 10-year government bonds (BTPs) and German Bunds opened marginally lower on Tuesday. The differential commenced trading at 78.8 basis points, down from 79.3 basis points at yesterday’s close. Concurrently, the yield on the Italian Treasury bond stood at 3.56%.
