UN Agency: 1,000 Starving Gazans Killed Seeking Food Aid Since May

The UN agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) estimates that approximately 1,000 starving people have been killed in Gaza while attempting to access food aid since the end of May. UNRWA chief Philippe Lazzarini, cited in international media reports, warned that the Gaza Strip has become “hell on earth,” describing scenes of doctors collapsing from hunger and exhaustion.
