The death toll from violent clashes erupting Sunday in Syria’s southern Sweida province has risen to over 350, reports the UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. The Observatory detailed that among the fatalities are 79 Druze fighters and 55 civilians. It specifically stated that 27 of these civilians were killed in “summary executions carried out by members of the Defence and Interior ministries.” Additionally, 189 government personnel and 18 Bedouin fighters were killed, according to the monitoring group.
