Rome preliminary investigations judge Antonella Minunni has ordered an immediate trial for Nors Manlapaz, the mother of confessed murderer Mark Antony Samson. Samson, 23, admitted to killing 22-year-old student Ilaria Sula. Manlapaz faces charges of complicity in corpse concealment, aggravated by acting to cover up another crime. Her trial hearing is scheduled for December 10 before Rome’s single-judge court. Manlapaz may request an alternative procedure through her lawyer, potentially including a plea bargain.
