A shooting in Taranto’s Tamburi district late Monday evening left one person dead and three others wounded on Via Machiavelli, located in the area known as “parking houses.” According to local health authority (ASL) sources, one man died shortly after being rushed to the emergency room. A second victim, shot in the head, remains in critical condition in intensive care. A third individual sustained serious injuries, while a fourth suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the right leg.
Police, carabinieri, and municipal officers secured the scene, where forensic teams recovered multiple shell casings. Preliminary reports indicate one of the wounded is the deceased’s son.
