Jewish Councilor in Milan to Sue Over Antisemitic Social Media Abuse

Milan city councilor Daniele Nahum, a member of the Jewish community and representative of the Azione party, faced antisemitic attacks on social media, including a message stating: “At least in Auschwitz you had a place to work, eat, and sleep.” Nahum condemned the remarks, emphasizing he would not tolerate such abuse or the defiling of Anne Frank’s memory with “vulgar stadium chants.” In a formal statement, he announced plans to file a legal complaint against the perpetrators, assisted by fellow councilor and lawyer Alessandro Giungi.
