Italian Singer Ultimo Shatters National Concert Ticket Record

Italian singer Ultimo has made music history, selling 250,000 tickets for a single concert – an unprecedented feat for an Italian artist. The announcement came just two days after he revealed “La Favola per sempre” (The Forever Fairytale), dubbed the “Gathering of the Ultimos,” during his tenth performance at Rome’s Stadio Olimpico in six years. The massive event is scheduled for July 4, 2026, at Rome’s Tor Vergata area, the same site hosting World Youth Day in under two weeks.

Tickets for all six available pits sold out in just over three hours. Celebrating the instant sell-out on Instagram, Ultimo wrote: “Welcome to history. Sold out in 3 hours. 250,000 tickets sold for what will be the biggest concert ever.” The Roman singer-songwriter added lyrics from his song “22 settembre”: “I feel a mission and I swear I’ll reach the goal. Singing in the heart of winter to bring spring.”

This shatters the previous Italian record held by Vasco Rossi, who drew over 225,000 paid attendees to Modena Park in 2017 for his 40th-anniversary show. The global record remains with Croatia’s Marko Perković, who attracted approximately 500,000 people to a concert in Zagreb just ten days ago.

The July 4th date is significant, marking exactly six years since Ultimo first headlined a stadium – Rome’s Olimpico. At just 29 years old, Ultimo already boasts 42 stadium performances, over 2 million career tickets sold, six studio albums released since 2017 earning him 84 platinum discs, 18 gold discs, over 7 million copies sold, and more than 3.5 billion Spotify streams. He remains a dominant force in Italian live music, currently touring with “La favola continua” until July 23rd.
