Fedez and Chiara Ferragni Officially Divorced by Milan Court

Italy’s most-followed social media couple, Fedez and Chiara Ferragni, are now legally divorced. The Milan Tribunal issued the decree for their joint divorce application today, sources close to the former couple confirmed.

The agreement, deemed appropriate by the court, grants joint custody of their children with near-equal visitation rights. No child support payments or spousal maintenance for Ferragni are stipulated. Fedez will solely cover the children’s educational and healthcare expenses.

Fedez was represented by attorneys Pompilia Rossi, Alessandro Simeone, and Andrea Pietrolucci, while Ferragni was assisted by lawyer Daniela Missaglia. This outcome, though saddening for fans of the rapper and the influencer-entrepreneur, was anticipated following their official separation decreed by the Milan Tribunal last December.

In the separation ruling, judges had already approved the conditions mutually agreed upon by the couple. At that time, Fedez’s lawyers indicated the divorce would follow within six months, commending the pair’s “remarkable maturity and mutual willingness” shown in reaching a swift, comprehensive agreement in their children’s best interests.

“The agreement does not include any financial child support contribution,” Missaglia had explained in December 2023. “Mrs. Ferragni waived this entirely legitimate measure with a conciliatory spirit and common sense, prioritizing a rapid understanding, also in the superior and preeminent interest of the minors.”

This concludes, without conflict or acrimony, one of the most media-covered love stories of recent years. Their romance began in 2016 after an initial meeting at a mutual friend’s lunch in December 2015. It culminated in their lavish September 1, 2018, wedding in Noto, Sicily – a ceremony followed by millions online via #theferragnez. The hashtag later became the title of a 2021 Amazon Prime Video docu-reality. An era of high-profile glamour for the couple is over, marked now by a peaceful divorce.
