Sanzio Negri, an 89-year-old man, has been arrested for the voluntary homicide of his wife, 80-year-old Luisa Trabucchi, a disabled woman. Negri suffocated her yesterday in their home in Castiraga Vidardo, Lodi province. The pensioner remains hospitalized at San Matteo Polyclinic in Pavia following a suicide attempt after the killing. Meanwhile, the Lodi Prosecutor’s Office has ordered an autopsy on the victim’s body. The procedure is scheduled for Tuesday or Wednesday next week at the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Pavia.
