Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty, attending the EU-Southern Neighbourhood ministerial meeting in Brussels, declared there is “no sign” of the EU-Israel agreement on humanitarian aid deliveries to Gaza being implemented. “The situation on the ground is horrible,” Abdelatty stated, emphasizing that over 100 people are killed daily in Gaza “merely for trying to receive aid.” He called the crisis “a disgrace for all of us,” adding that Egypt is present to “speak frankly and inform our European friends of the realities in the field.”
