Conflicting price adjustments hit gasoline markets this weekend as average diesel prices rose and international oil quotes rebounded after Thursday’s pause. According to the latest survey by Staffetta Quotidiana, energy company Eni reduced its recommended gasoline prices by one cent per liter on Saturday. In contrast, Tamoil increased its prices by one cent per liter.
These figures represent average pump prices reported by operators to the Price Observatory of the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, processed by Staffetta, and recorded yesterday morning at 8 AM across approximately 18,000 stations:
**Self-service Unleaded:** €1.732/liter (unchanged; branded stations €1.738, independent stations €1.721)
**Self-service Diesel:** €1.668/liter (+€0.001; branded stations €1.674, independent stations €1.657)
**Full-service Unleaded:** €1.874/liter (unchanged; branded stations €1.916, independent stations €1.792)
**Full-service Diesel:** €1.809/liter (+€0.001; branded stations €1.851, independent stations €1.728)
**Full-service LPG:** €0.703/liter (-€0.001; branded stations €0.713, independent stations €0.693)
**Full-service CNG:** €1.440/kg (unchanged; branded stations €1.446, independent stations €1.435)
**Full-service LNG:** €1.278/kg (+€0.001; branded stations €1.276/kg, independent stations €1.280/kg)
Prices on motorways were significantly higher:
Unleaded: Self-service €1.829/liter, Full-service €2.094/liter
Diesel: Self-service €1.781/liter, Full-service €2.048/liter
LPG: €0.841/liter
CNG: €1.509/kg
LNG: €1.359/kg
