China has expressed “deep concern over the current developments” following deadly military clashes at the Cambodia-Thailand border, amid heightened tensions stemming from unresolved territorial disputes. Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Hong Lei, during the daily press briefing, urged both parties “to accommodate differences through dialogue and consultations.” He stated China’s hope is for the “proper management” of the crisis, affirming that Beijing will maintain “a fair and impartial position” on the matter.
