Beijing’s Commerce Ministry has condemned the European Union’s latest sanctions package, which includes Chinese entities among those targeted for restricting Russia’s armed forces. In a statement issued today, the ministry labeled the EU measures “wrong”. A ministry spokesperson stated, “The actions of the European Union contravene the consensus reached by Chinese and EU leaders and have severely undermined bilateral economic, trade, and financial cooperation between China and the EU.”
