The body of 53-year-old Erika Ferini Strambi, reported missing days earlier, was discovered in Pantigliate, Milan. Her father had alerted the Porta Monforte Carabinieri on July 7 after losing contact with her that morning; she had last been seen leaving for work on July 3.
A local farmer spotted her Mini Cooper abandoned in a ditch earlier today, prompting emergency responders and military police to rush to the scene. Strambi’s body was located approximately 200 meters from the vehicle.
Initial examinations revealed no overt signs of violence on the victim, who reportedly relied on crutches for mobility. The crutches were found beside her remains. Authorities are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding her death.
