The new edition of the “Costruiamo Ponti” (Building Bridges) competition, promoted by the Cpd – Council for People in Difficulty and the CRT Foundation within the Disability Agenda framework under the goal “Learning Inside and Outside School,” has officially begun.
This initiative aims to activate and support local co-design projects focused on assisting students with disabilities during transitions between school cycles and into adulthood.
Unlike the previous edition, the competition shifts its approach: from a 2023 “call for ideas” to a 2025 “call for community.” The objective is to foster strong collaborative networks among non-profit organizations, schools, public entities, and for-profit entities in Piedmont and Aosta Valley. The goal is to define inclusive intervention models with genuine participation.
The call specifically targets students with disabilities transitioning between lower secondary school (scuola secondaria di primo grado) and upper secondary school (scuola secondaria di secondo grado). Networks can work on two key action lines: one focuses on guidance for transitions between school cycles, and the other on support for school-to-work alternation programs (PCTO).
Territorial networks can express interest in the call. Eligible networks must include at least one lead non-profit organization (NPO) and one secondary school (lower or upper). Public bodies and for-profit entities can also join these networks. Applications must be submitted jointly via an online form by 3:00 PM on September 12, 2025.
Selected networks will participate in a co-design process involving approximately ten meetings, running from October 2025 to June 2026. This process aims to define shared intervention models tailored to the specific contexts of five territorial quadrants: Alessandria-Asti, Cuneo, Biella-Novara-Vercelli-Verbano Cusio Ossola, and Torino in Piedmont; and Aosta in Aosta Valley. The CRT Foundation will evaluate the finalized projects for potential implementation by the end of 2026.
