Tuscany President Giani Backs Party Leadership After “Fruitful” Meeting

Tuscany Region President Eugenio Giani has endorsed the direction of his party’s leadership following what he characterized as a “fruitful meeting” with national secretary Elly Schlein. In a statement, Giani emphasized “full alignment on the political framework” with Schlein, national secretariat members Igor Taruffi and Marco Furfaro, and regional secretary Emiliano Fossi, noting their “close collaboration” in recent months. The president formally entrusted Schlein and Fossi with steering the party’s political strategy to develop a vision “worthy of Tuscany’s history and future.” Giani pledged to “respect their decisions and conclusions” while offering his “fullest cooperation.”
