A 17-year-old boy died in a road accident late last night near Impruneta, Florence. The incident occurred around 11:45 PM on Via Chiantigiana heading towards Ferrone. Preliminary reports indicate the teenager lost control of his scooter for reasons still under investigation, veering off the road and crashing into an embankment.
Firefighters responded to the scene, extricated the victim, and brought him to the roadside. Emergency medical personnel administered cardiac massage, but attempts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful. Carabinieri officers also attended the scene to investigate the fatal crash.
