Marina Donato, a prominent Italian television producer and writer known for popular programs like *La Corrida*, *Forum*, and *Il pranzo è servito*, has died in Rome at the age of 76. The widow of celebrated television host Corrado Mantoni, Donato passed away last night at the Umberto I Hospital. She was transported there following a sudden, fatal illness.
Born in Rome on July 4, 1949, Donato entered the entertainment industry at a young age. She began collaborating professionally with the already established presenter Corrado Mantoni, who was 25 years her senior. Their working relationship evolved into a lifelong love story. After 23 years of living together, the couple married in a highly private ceremony on June 27, 1996.
Most recently, Donato had worked on the latest season of *La Corrida*, hosted by Amadeus on Nove, and was preparing for the show’s new season this autumn.
