Two people died when an ultralight aircraft crashed and burned on the “Corda Molla” provincial road in Azzano Mella, Brescia province. Firefighters recovered the charred remains of both occupants from the wreckage. Preliminary reports indicate the victims appeared to be a man and a woman, though their identities and the aircraft’s departure point remain unknown. The small plane crashed near the Corda Molle interchange connecting the A4 and A21 motorways. Debris from the aircraft struck several vehicles on the road, but no motorists were injured. Authorities are investigating the crash and working to determine where the aircraft originated.
